The Zero Waste Forum 2026, held from June 5 to 7 at Atatürk Airport in Istanbul, brought together an unusually diverse group of policymakers, academics, engineers, city leaders, international organizations, civil society representatives and sustainability practitioners around one central message: zero waste is no longer only a waste management agenda.
