Ayşe Gizem Taş

Ayşe Gizem Taş is an architect, LEED Accredited Professional, and sustainability consultant at Altensis, with a strong green building background and nearly a decade of experience, having contributed to 40+ building projects across Europe and the Middle East. Her work spans green building frameworks, life cycle assessments, and implementation strategies that connect on-the-ground project data with broader climate, regulatory, and investment contexts.

Based in Türkiye, she operates at the intersection of buildings, climate policy, and implementation, exploring how systems thinking and regenerative approaches can help bridge the translation gap between building-scale sustainability data and policy or financial decision-making.

She is a Fellow at Terra.do (a global climate learning and practitioner community) and a certified Climate Fresk facilitator, actively engaging with global practitioners and communities through collective learning, facilitation, and climate systems dialogue, with a focus on turning climate knowledge into practical, action-oriented outcomes.

In parallel, she is a member of the Green Collar Women Foundation, contributing to efforts that promote women’s leadership in sustainability and the energy transition. She also contributes to professional education and climate awareness initiatives through the Chamber of Architects of Türkiye, delivering climate literacy workshops for young architects and participatory sessions on urban justice, while also regularly facilitating voluntary, children-focused workshops on climate and nature.
