Aruzhan Mominbayeva

Aruzhan is a renewable energy professional and climate advocate from Kazakhstan, dedicated from an early age to combating climate change in one of the world’s most climate-vulnerable regions. She has led the development and management of multiple solar power plants and brings deep expertise in wind measurement research. In 2021, she founded InTech-Forecast, the first RE forecasting platform in Central Asia, now participating in the SheWins Climate accelerator by IFC. Her work spans pioneering green bond–financed solar projects in Central Asia, recognized by the UN as a leading climate solution and presented at COP29. Alongside project development, Aruzhan is an active youth and integrity advocate, serving on the UNODC YouthLED Integrity Advisory Board and Youth Sounding Board under EU. In 2024 she received the CAREC Gender & Climate Award for advancing clean energy and women’s leadership in STEM. Currently a MBA 2025-2027 student and a class president at Nazarbayev University.
