
Dr. Guler Kocak is a clean energy innovator, climate tech advocate, and space entrepreneur, and the Founder and CEO of SPACELIS Space Technologies. She pioneers next generation photovoltaic technologies, especially perovskite and organic PV, to deliver ultra lightweight, flexible, high performance solar solutions for both space grade applications and climate resilient energy systems on Earth.
With a Ph.D. in Chemistry and deep expertise in materials and thin film solar architectures, Dr. Kocak focuses on technologies that support decarbonization, energy access, and resilience, especially in harsh and infrastructure-limited environments where reliability and durability are critical. Her work bridges research and real world deployment through international collaborations, translating advanced PV materials into scalable clean energy solutions that reduce emissions and strengthen adaptation capacity.
A NATO DIANA Innovator and an alumna of Seraphim Space, she was also recognized among Australia’s top nine global space and energy entrepreneurs. As a woman founder in deep tech, she actively champions inclusive innovation, women’s leadership in climate and energy, and mentorship for the next generation of STEM talent and entrepreneurs, with a strong commitment to turning science into measurable climate impact.
Dr. Kocak contributes insights on how next generation solar materials, especially perovskite and organic PV, can accelerate the clean energy transition, strengthen climate adaptation, expand resilient energy access, and advance a more inclusive climate innovation ecosystem.
