
Arif Künar has over 30 years of experience in public and private sector projects focused on energy efficiency, energy transition, renewable energy, ESCO/EPC models, and green buildings. In recent years, he has also served as an expert on numerous international projects related to green and digital transformation and sustainability, supported and initiated by organizations such as the European Union, the World Bank, EBRD, GIZ, and KfW. He contributed to the development of Türkiye’s 2050 Net Zero Roadmap in collaboration with IPM. He is currently leading efforts to establish the “COP31 Türkiye Coalition Platform”, aimed at coordinating Türkiye’s preparations for COP31 by bringing together NGOs, associations, professional chambers, and networks.
