
Alper Kalaycı is a senior executive and clean energy professional with over 27 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with a strong focus on wind energy manufacturing, industrial localization, and supply chain development in Türkiye. He currently serves as Localization & Supply Chain Manager at Goldwind Türkiye, where he leads localization strategy, supplier development, and industrial partnerships to strengthen the company’s manufacturing and supply chain footprint in the region. He is also the Founder of EnConIQ Energy, a consultancy providing strategic and industrial advisory services to the clean energy industry.
He began his career between 1998 and 2001 as a site engineer, working on the installation and maintenance of Türkiye’s first wind power plants. In December 2001, he joined Enercon Aero, the company that launched Türkiye’s first composite wind turbine blade manufacturing facility in the Aegean Free Zone. From 2009 until the end of 2023, he served as General Manager of both Enercon Aero and WEC Kule A.Ş., a manufacturer of concrete wind turbine towers based in Torbalı, İzmir, leading large-scale industrial operations and investments across the wind energy supply chain.
Alongside his executive career, Alper Kalaycı has played an active role in Türkiye’s energy and industry ecosystem. As of 2025, he serves as a Board Member of the Aegean Federation of Industrialists and Business People Associations (BASİFED), Vice Chair of the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Working Group at the Aegean Region Chamber of Industry (EBSO), a member of the Renewable Energy Working Group at the İzmir Chamber of Commerce (İZTO), a Board Member of the Offshore Wind Energy Association (DÜRED), a member of the İzmir Economic Development Coordination Board (İEKKK), and a Board Member of the GENBA Group of Companies.
He was part of the founding team of the Energy Industrialists and Business People Association (ENSİA) in 2016 and served as Chairman of the Board from March 2021 until November 2025. He currently holds the title of Honorary Chairman of ENSİA. Previously, he has also served on the boards of institutions such as the İzmir Development Agency (İZKA), İZENERJİ, the Turkish Composites Manufacturers Association, and the Aegean Free Zone Industrialists and Business People Association (ESBİAD).
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Dokuz Eylül University.
